Thread: Private bus service to Galveston port from airports and other stops

Just found out today about a bus service that will take you to the Galveston from places other than the Houston airports, though it has service from them as well.

EZ Cruise Connection has buses that go from Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio and Austin as well as 2 routes from the north side of Houston and 2 routes from the west side. The fares don't seem unreasonable.

These are especially great for people who can get a ride in one direction or who are on a repositioning cruise, and don't want to leave their cars in Galveston.

They are looking to expand to other ports, but I don't have info about that.

I haven't heard of them before, but the website says they have been around since 2004. Maybe it's because they require a travel agent to actually book these seats.

It would appear that individuals can't make their own reservations.

I will also go back and ask the people who told me about this for more info. I've spoken with people who do transatlantic cruises out of Galveston, and this is what they use. If I didn't live in spitting distance to the port, I would want to do this!
