What cruise liners sail out of Galveston?
All I know for sure is Carnival, but are there others?

Yes, Royal Caribbean and NCL both sail out of Galveston
Celebrity has one ship, Galaxy, which sails out of Galveston for some parts of the year -- not year round!
Hmm never heard of Galaxy, But I thought Celebrity has more than just 1 ship.. hmmm
Galaxy sails from Galveston, doing a Panama Canal itinerary in the spring and fall, approximately, of 2005 and into 2006. She is a Celebrity ship.
Thanks, Pincus!! I would love to do the Panama Canal some day!!![]()
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.
Ok I was confused, I though you meant Galaxy was some new line or something.Originally Posted by Pincus

Grand Princess, Rhapsody, and Splendour are a couple of more![]()
Galaxy is one of 10 ships in the Celebrity fleet.Originally Posted by rex_admin

In addition, Princess, Carnival and Royal Caribbean have ships there too.
Princess has brought in the Grand Princess, and with 15 decks, it is the biggest ship there, and possibly the newest. It only winters there though. Royal Caribbean has two of its Vision class ships there, the Rhapsody OTS year round, and the slightly older Splendour OTS in winter. And Carnival has two ships year round ,the Elation and the Ecstasy. These are some of their older ships. For more info about itineraries, etc., look here:

BUT, NCL has one ship sailing from the port of Houston less than 50 miles from Galveston. It's not as nice a port, bu if you are an NCL fan, don't overlook this. The NCL Sea will be here (I live in Houston) until July, and then another NCL ship will take its place in October.
