Thread: RCI Rhapsody vs. Carnival Conquest

Has anyone sailed on both of these ships out of Galveston? If so, would you recommend the Conquest over Rhapsody since it's newer? Itinerary is not important, nor cost. This is for a 28yr old couple who's married w/kids. Couple going by themselves. Never done a cruise, wife doesn't travel much, husband does and likes staying in Marriotts.

I haven't been on either ship, and don't have any clients that have been on both.

Any experts out there who can give their thoughts? and why? Thanks.

Sorry, haven't been on either, but have a booked cruise on Rhapsody Sept. 3rd. I've been on Carnival Triumph, a much, much larger ship. This time, we thought we'd try a smaller ship like the Rhapsody. I've read a lot of good posts/reviews on Rhapsody, smaller, more intimate atmosphere and better individual service. When are you looking at cruising on Rhapsody?
