Thread: Celebrity X Galaxy 25th Feb 2008 (very very early booking)!!

We are considering the January 25th sailing on the Galaxy. We haven't sailed her before, but have been on the Century and loved it. This itinerary is wonderful.

Last year we took the 10 day Galaxy Cruise, on Feb 23, 2007, and it started in San Juan, going to Tortola first. with Aruba as the next to last port. We had a sea day at the end, and it was really rocking from Aruba to San Juan.

This year the it starts with a Sea Day. I like that idea!!! We won't have the sea legs this year.

We met a lot of great folks last year, and managed to talk two of the couples from Canada into joining us this year.

I hear that the Galaxy is heading to dry dock for a referb this spring... anyone else hear this? I actually like the Galaxy, and the "winter garden" at the rear. Even though the Century is a "sister ship" it is slightly smaller. The Century was updated a couple years ago, and is very nice. I really like the size of this ship, and the ability to get into smaller ports without a tender.
