Bimini Boatyard had some great seafood and is on the A1A. We will be there beginning of April and will be checking it out again as well as trying 15th St Fisheries.

Just a correction, Bimini Boatyard is on 17th Street Causeway and Eisenhower Blvd, on the north side of 17th St. 17th St Causeway becomes A1A about a mile east.

Bimini is right by Port Everglades. The Mai Tai on Federal Hwy quarter mile north of Oakland Park Blvd, Las Olas Blvd has a number of restaurants and i've been told Mangos is very good. On Sunrise Blvd at the Galleria Mall, there's Capital Grill and Seasons 52, these two at the Galleria Mall are very elegant upscale restaurants.Try these first. You'll love the appearance as you enter. Cheese Cake Factory is on Las Olas. Wolfgang Puck and others are at the Sawgrass Mills Mall, about 18 miles west.

You mean Andrews Avenue. Not close but not too far either. From the Marriott you'll be staying come back to Cypress Creek Rd and go left to US 1. Turn right on US 1 (Federal Hwy) continue south to Sunrise Blvd. Turn left to Sunrise Blvd and Galleria Mall is about half mile east on the right side cross the 3rd traffic light and enter the Mall at the 2nd entrance. You're at the Capital Grille and season's 52. Las Olas Blvd is just south of this location. To the Mai Tai you are closer. 2 miles after you cross Commercial Blvd on US 1, keep an eye out for the Mai Kai sign on your side of the road. Note i've edited the original info I sent, so you'll not find it where it was when you first read it.

MD, thanks for the info. We are just going to "cab" it, as we only have 1 day there. Time wise, how long to the Galleria Mall? And yes, Andrews Ave is correct, sorry.
