Thread: Anyone stayed at these Hotels in Ft. Lauderdale?

Hyatt Pier 66 or the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel & Resort trying to decide which Hotel to stay at, anyone stayed at either or have any recommendations?

I liked that the Hilton has jacuzzi tubs in each room but seems far from port.
The Hyatt seems closer to the pier.

Also can anyone recommend any restaurants in the area? We are going down 3 days before and food is a focus for us

You're most likely back by now, but anyone would be fine. The Hilton is a new property located on State Road A1A across from the ocean, and about 2.5 to 3 miles from the port. The Hyatt Pier 66 is an older property, recently extensively refurbished and is across from the Port.
