Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

Sue .... Thank you so VERY much! So helpful to us!
Just to explain ....
We are going to be on a B2B cruise with our car just sitting in Ft. Lauderdale for 20 days.
Our very close friends are flying into Ft. Lauderdale while we're cruising and were planning to rent a car at the airport for 8 days to drive to Marco Island, etc. and then flying back out before we return.
Seems silly for them to rent a car when we have one there just sitting around. Natually, they'll have the extra set of keys to our car and we will tell each other where it's parked via cell phone. We'll just take a taxi back and forth to the cruise terminal.
Thinking leaving it at the airport would be the best and easiest way. What do you think?

Yes it s the best way LuLu. Not far to go to get the car and return it, and you can grab a cab to the airport to get it The cost while it is sitting there isn't bad either, much cheaper than the port.

Parking at Port Everglades is $15 per day, so using the Park & Save Airport Lot is far cheaper
If we did that option to leave the car for our friends, HOW hard would it be for us to find a taxi to the CRUISE Terminal?
Keep thinking ... maybe the regular airport parking (long term) would be easier and work best for all of us ....

These websites list all parking near airports with good prices and one has coupons. Check them out, I believe FLL area has parking as low as $6.00 a day.
You need to be carful with those options, there are several complaints of damage to cars when they return.
