    Fort Lauderdale

What can people do in Fort Lauderdale for the day while the ship is in port? Are there any independent trips that can be done or do you have to go through the ship?

floflegs...sorry no one answered this query sooner. There's lots to do in Ft. Lauderdale for a day. The beaches are great...there are some really good cruises along the canals, highlighting the multi-million dollar houses. Shopping is good too. Here's a website with all kinds of info on the area.
