Thread: Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale?

If anyone knows of any good hotels in Ft. Lauderdale please give me some ideas. Need one that will do shuttle from airport to hotel and hotel to port. Thanks!!!:think:

We have stayed at the Embassy Suites on 17th Street many, many times both pre and post cruise. They do have free shuttle back and forth from the airport. I understand that they are now going to charge to go to the port. If you have a cell phone you can always call them after the cruise to pick you up. The telephone lines outside the terminal get very crowded with the crew calling home. However there are always tons of cabs right outside the cruise terminals to take passengers to either the airport or a hotel. The airport is very close to the cruise terminals.

Also the Embassy Suites has a full complimentary breakfast every morning and free cocktails every evening from 5:30 to 7:30.
