Jacksonville Port and hotel

How do I get the address of the Port for Jacksonville, FL. We have our cruise booked for October and would like to find a hotel for 5 the night before. Embassy Suites is 12 miles from the beach - that seems pretty close. When we booked our cruise with Carnaval in 2003, I found a hotel in New Orleans that let us keep our car there during the cruise to avoid extra charges. A limo took (that part was great). I wasn't feeling so well when I woke up and sitting on the curb for 2 1/2 hours waiting on the limo is not something I'll do again. We were looking at the taxis the driver pulled up. Thanks

Pam,
See if there is a Country Inn and Suites near the Jacksonville cruise terminal. We just stayed at one when we cruised out of Port Canaveral and they had a good stay and park rate for cruisers. The shuttle service that took us from the hotel to the port was perfect! They had it down to a science and we didn't have to wait for it at the beginning or the end of the cruise. If you do have to wait it won't be long.

I think we're going to stay at the Emabassy Suites. We have a 3 year old and I want her to ride in her carseat to the port. I think most of the hotels that do the park and stay are near the airport. I know she won't be in a carseat in Nassau (we're just hoping to have seatbelts!), but I don't want to start our cruise off with a ticket or worse for not having her safe.

Thanks for your help. We might check them out anyway.

Pam
