Fascination Fun
We went on the Fascination this past March to celebrate a friend's birthday. It was our third cruise, the first being in 1985 on the Holiday (Carnival) and the second being the Carnival Legend in 2005. They weren't as attentive (state room attendant, dining room wait staff) on the Fascination vs. Carnival Legend because all we can figure is you are only on the ship for 3 nights vs 7 nights. Even with that being said we still had a fun time.
I think you're going to like that you can do as little or as much as you want while on the cruise. The food was nice in the dining room. Some people at our table even doubled up on the lobster. The disco was kicking, the shows in the theatre were very entertaining (Hollywood theme and Broadway theme). We also had afternoon tea, participated in a couple of shore excursions and enjoyed the reasonably priced and tasty libations by the pool.
Since this ship was smaller than the Carnival Legend it took me a little time to figure out how to get from one place to another since there isn't one long circle around the public area decks.
Enjoy. We have had such a good time that we are booked on two more 7+ day cruises (October 2006 and August 2007).
