Just thought of something else. If you have a child that has a recent injury, you may want to talk to the counselors about any physical activity. A family we know went (sans the father) on a NCL cruise a couple of years ago and the girl (one of my daughter's best friends) re-broke an arm from a five-month old injury when there was a pillow fight. The mother (who tends to be a nervous nelly anyway) was pretty upset at the program and at the doctor onboard (didn't diagnose the break at first). She says that if she knew there would be a pillow fight, she wouldn't have dropped off her daughter that night (the last night of the cruise) for the "pajama party."
So if there are some issues with physical activities or food (such as allergies or diabetes), it's a good idea to say something up front, rather than having a problem later on.
