    The family that cruises together...

Families are the fastest growing demographic in the cruising industry. While most cruise lines have children's and teens' programs on their ships, some have made family travel their mission. Disney, for example, has taken the Imagineering elements of its theme parks and applied them to its cruise line. The concept has been so successful that Disney is now doubling its fleet by ordering two new ships.

One thing to comment on is about the cabin card (near the end of the article). I know that on Princess, parents can specify that the spending function on their kids' cards be disabled. When my girl wanted to get a hot chocolate or buy a trinket in the ships' store, one of us had hand over our card. I would imagine most cruiselines will do this if you ask.
