I have never been on a cruise mystery dinner, but I have been to a few mystery weekends. They were not geared towards children. In fact, some of the stuff was a little to "off the shoulder" for childen. Not really bad though. I have on seen one child at a weekend though.
I know this is not what you asked, but I hope it helps.
Thanks for the reply!![]()
Guess, I was thinking of children the ages of my grandchildren -- 10 & 14!

My children are 9 and 10, and I would not hesitate taking them on a mystery cruise. The humor may be a little risqué every now and then, but nothing near as bad as you see on most TV shows.
I am sure the cruise will have more things for kids (pre-teens) to do. There will be the pool, shows, and all. So, I am sure they will have fun. At the ages of your grandchildren I say go for it!
My tips: Pay attention to every detail. Even the smallest and simplest thing will lead you to the killer.
Most of all have fun.
*Please let me know the details of the mystery cruises. I would love to join one. I loved the mystery weekend. Add that to a cruise and I would be in heaven!
Talk to you soon,
Emily

All guests 13 and over are welcome. All guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
So the 14 year old would be OK, the 10 year old is too young according to the RCCL website. All the information was taken from the FAQ section on the RCCL site.
