She is survived by her two sons (she lost two others at an early age, and another one at age 20) and her granddaughter. She grew up in St. Paul, MN, and married a Holocaust survivor from Romania. She worked years as a preschool teacher for a Jewish Day School. One of her pet projects was to knit caps and blankets for kids with cancer. Hubby is still over at her house working out the details of the service, which could be Friday afternoon or on Sunday. She will be missed. This afternoon, my MIL Tamara lost her battle with cancer. She is un-named but I call it Queen Mary or Caronia.
