What is the passenger capacity of Explorer of the Seas.
CLF indicates 3100 or so but Vacations-To-Go has it at about 3800. That is a big difference. Which is correct ?

Good questions - and unfortunately I don't know the answer but might be able to explain why you do sometimes see variations in these figures. Some ships list their capacity if all cabins were full, twin share only. However, there are of course all the staterooms that have triples, quads and more. When you add all these additionals beds in you of course get a much higher number.

I'm pretty confident in the number 3114 as the passenger count for Explorer OTS. I believe VTG is using a total passenger + crew tally. I believe the Explorer OTS crew to be about 1100 - so even that figure is slightly unusual.
In terms of final accuracy, I do believe some of the ships in the CLF systems are rounded up or down in only a few instance - and here's one of them.
But, again, I"m confident in the 3100 being a fairly accurate passenger capacity.
Thanks!

Our official travel agent guide shows the number of passengers at 3114 based on 'normal' occupancy and a maximum number of passengers as 3840. Crew is an additional 1181.
So, as you can see, CLF has it right based on the normal occupancy rate, while VTG is showing it right based on the maximum number.

Good to know guys and gals , so all VTG's numbers are probably based on Max occupancy.
