    Balconey

We are going on back to back cruises starrting march 20. We have a grand suite. I was wondering if anyone can tell me about the balconey. Does it have an obstructed view or is it just one big balconey like the other cabins?

We had a grand suite on the Navigator of the Seas, which was absolutely wonderful! The balcony is the same as any other balcony, but twice the length. Ours was completely unobstructed and so are the rest of the grand suites.

Now for the bad news; depending on what's above you, sometimes they can be a bit noisy because of the pool area above along with a hard floor in some cases. People dropping things, dragging chairs & tables, etc.

But the suite itself is very nice & roomy, and will make a wonderful B2B.

Tasha, if you look at the attached link, you'll see some pictures of a Grand Suite. I don't know which ship you're sailing on, but this is Cabin 1552 on the Radiance of the Seas. I just posted these pictures this morning so look at posts #38 and 39.

Hi Tasha, this is what a Grand Suite balcony looks like on Adventure of the Seas (Explorer of the Seas & Adventure of the Seas are sister ships and laid out the same). While it's not really an obstructed view, the big white support thing in the middle of the balcony does partially obstruct the view a bit. On the Brilliance of the Seas (Radiance class ship) we didn't have that support in the center of the Grand Suite balcony.
