Explorer of the Seas Fitness Center ?

This is a very specific question regarding the Explorer of the Seas that I am hoping someone can answer. If not, I guess I can call Royal Caribbean and ask them.

Does anyone know the type of Spinning bikes in the fitness center? I don't want to pack my spinning shoes if they will be of no use because the cleats are different...

I visited the EOS twice as it is near my home, sadly however, I do not work-out as much as I should. There were bikes in the fitness center, but the brand I personally cannot answer, sorry.

I just wanted to say any other question I should be able to answer for you just PM if I do not answer right away, I am not on CLF as much as I should be...

Also this can serve as a little bump for you!! I hope someone here was on this ship and worked out LOL ....

I bet it is the same as Royals other ships...

[I do not work-out as much as I should]

Most of us don't work out as much as we should when we cruise as it is great to just relax and enjoy the many areas of the ship - my favorite area just happens to be the fitness and spa area! I love working out and looking out at the ocean rather than the gym ceiling. Also, I can eat more of the delicious desserts and still fit in my clothes on Day 5 or 6!

Travelmom, I sent your question to Royal Caribbean and got this response:

"Thank you for your email. We apologize for the delay in our response.

Spinning bikes in the Fitness Center onboard all of our ships are not fitted with cycling clips, but they do have foot straps to accommodate any sports shoe. "

Hope this answer is specific enough, TM!

Thank you so much... Yes, that is quite specific enough - bummer, but now I won't need to pack my shoes.
