    Explorer of the Seas

    My husband and I are going on explorer in September...what is the best thing about RCL's explorer of the seas?????

    You will love this ship!

    The Voyager-class ships of the Royal Caribbean fleet are wonderful ships with many activities for everyone of all ages.

    You need to try the speciality restaurant - Portofino's. There's an extra cost for this, but I think it's very well worth it.

    And make sure you take advantage of the ice show - it's absolutely wonderful! Just insure that you get the tickets as soon as they become available - they're free, but they'll all be given out for the three shows and if you don't get them early, you will miss out on a great show.

    I agree that the ice show is worth seeing. Sometimes you can get in without tickets but I would not count on it. The welcoming parade in the promanade is also a good event. It does get crowded.

    I haven't sailed on the Voyager Class ships yet so you'll have to report back to us on what your favorite thing was. If this is your first cruise with RCCL then you're sure to be surprised with a great time!!!
