Thread: Explorer of the Seas; Sept 6, 2008; Bermuda

I went to Bermuda during hurricane season and was fine, maybe lucky?

Leaving out of NY/NJ/PA or any other Eastern Port and sailing out to those seas can get rough at times too... So you really never know...

I hope you have a large Bar tab... would not be a good trip then Just kidding... I just like to drink, but do not drink for "no reason" as much as I used too... That can be asking for future alcohol problems. I see no problem with drinking a few beers every night after work if you can do it... Unfortunately I cannot, so I do not. Usually on my Fridays (Sunday) I will have 2-4 or 1-2 tall boys, not too often though.

Well, I wont reply too much longer sorry I could not make it on to say have a great trip, but I was so tired last night...

So, anyway, have a great trip, hopefully you will look into this thread when you get back and tell me you enjoyed the ship as much as I did...

And I really hope the Casino bartender and Schooner bartender are still there, they were great!

Hi, we had rough seas from the time we left Cape Liberty until 3 or 4 hours prior to arrival in Bermuda. Unfortunately, I missed my first sea day, while being sick I am bummed that I missed Formal Night too, but I'm sure the other guests are quite happy I stayed away!

I'm going to do a Trip Report and I'll post a link after it's done

Aww, that is sad about being sick. All these darn Hurricane's even though they were out of your path, they surely stirred up the water.

Yeah only one formal on that cruise, and I am sure you made a big stink about it before hand - oh well... Not like you really missed anything big, unless you do the pictures or something.

At least you got better for Bermuda... Looking forward to your report whenever you get it done, curious to see how you liked it and what you disliked... And the all important would you again ...
