Ahhhh, that's a beautiful thing! We have an aft corner balcony on the EOS next April. Thanks for sharing your pictures. I can hardly wait. We booked it last July so its been a long time coming but we're slowly getting there.

It is beautiful Char! I love rainbows. Last summer when we were flying to NY for our Crown Princess cruise we got held up due to bad weather over LaGuardia. We circled and circled and finally had to land in Scranton, PA to refuel. It stormed and poured just as we were taking off again and there was a double rainbow.....all of them, end to end. We thought that was a good sign that we would have a great cruise and it was.

    Char,

Thanks. That was a great pic. It had just rained and the rain was moving from east to west over the island and harbor. As the clouds moved away and the sun poked out a rainbow formed. I took about 5 shots. This one andnother seemed to come out the best.

Circle around LGA.... HA HA HA HA HA HA

You act like that is something new...It was not the weather it was all the traffic

NYC Airports and PHL (Philly) airport are awful. I had PHL on a few hops as layovers and I do not recall leaving on time, or close to on time for that matter...

LaGuardia, I remember circling that airport for over an hour for no reason at all... Then they landed two at once so the pilot had to turn off the runway to make room... OMG...

Chrisjan- Thank you. I have other pcis of ships in St.Thomas. If you do a search under my profile for my positings you'll find them. They were early in my posting career, so look way back.

I'll be "home" on St. Thomas this May 30th-June 6th and hope to capture some more good shots. Already peaked ahead at the schedule and saw Freedom of the Seas is due in on that Wednesday. I find that funny because growing up, the Norway, the world's largest passenger ship at the time, was also always in on Wednesday.
