    Anyone for Europe in 2009??

Houch started a thread like this for 2008. I thought It would be fun to see who has plans for Europe this year.

Have you got a cruise booked or planned to Europe (British Islands, Norwegian Fjords, The Baltic this year??

If so, please come here and post when and where you are going.
Other members might be on the same ship as you or, on a different ship but in the same port on the same day as you.
Join in also if you have any tips or experiences you have had sailing in Northern Europe in the past

We dont have a cruise planned to The Norwegian Fjords this summer. However, we have a cruise planned to my birth country in 2010.

We are still going to Norway this year. We have not made the final plans yet but I belive we will go between June 28 and July 12.
We will be staying at my familiys place in Aalesund and Geiranger.
We might fly in to Bergen and take Hurtigruten from Bergen to Aalesund. Our return journey iwe plan to take the train to Oslo and fly back home to Spain from there.

If you are on a cruise calling in geiranger and/or Aalesund when we are there it could be fun to meet up.

Great idea Hauch had and that you are carrying on, Lars!

This is not northern Europe....but Europe none the less. We are sailing on Celebrity Summit from San Juan to Barcelona on April 18th.

Our ports of call are Tenerife, Canary Islands ~ Agadir, Morocco ~ Malaga, Spain ~ Valencia, Spain and finally Barcelona.

5 lovely sea days before our first port of call.

We have a Roll Call, but only 2 of us (so far) from CLF are posting on it.

EDIT: OOPSY! I see that you have a thread for the Med, too! I'll go post this over there.

Yes, I did make two threads since we have a Europe Forum and Mediterranean Forum. It gets a bit confusing since The Med is in Europe and visa versa

It almost the same flying time to Alaska as it is to Europe Then again, have you seen the prices for Alaska this summer??? Royal Caribbean and Celebrity are selling balcony cabins as low as $899. Europe cruises are not so low, yet.

I have seen some TAs even lower than that! (and you only have to fly one way)
