Just flew AA earlier this month and Joey is right, it's 70 lbs. FYI, If you are flying between the Hawaiian isles, it 50 lbs on Hawaiian Air

Please verify this jstducky...it all depends on who your first leg is with....Flying out of LAX will determin how much luggage you can check,,at least thats what i have been led to believe...

After a near riot on my last Iberia flight, I'd recommend another airline JstDucky. The flight crew handled themselves in a most unprofessional matter, walking off the airline instead of handling a serious situation leaving us to sit on the runway in stifling heat...Worst flight of my life for sure.

I'm not sure about that. Someone over at CC also told me to check both legs of the flight. I've heard before that if the second leg has a lower weight limit than the first leg, then you are mandated by the one with the lower limit.

But I could be wrong. I wonder who we ask about that. Maybe I'll call AA at some point.
