    Eurodam Thanksgiving 11/19/2011

Booked the Eurodam for Thanksgiving yesterday. It will be our first HAL cruise, a 7 night Eastern Caribbean. I toured the Eurodam in February of this year, and it is a beautiful ship, loved the Cabanas around the pool and up on a higher deck.
    Anyone else on this sailing?

We sailed on the Eurodam over thanksgiving in 2008 -- lots and lots of children on board.

One of our favorite dining options -- The Tamarind!!

That's fine, Yonnie, we sailed Crown Princess over Thanksgiving, 2006 with lots of children, and Carnival Imagination Thanksgiving 2010 with 800 kids onboard. Got to say, they were not a bother as many were in the Kids Clubs and those who were in the pools and Water Park were doing their thing there. We do plan on dining at Tamarind and Pinnacle Grill while aboard.

HAL only has Club HAL which can't really handle a lot of children. The children are suppose to use only the Lido pool -- but many of them used the aft pool as well.

Yonnie, there's Club HAL for 3 -7 year olds and Tweens(8 - 12 year olds). Then there's The Loft and The Oasis for teens 13 - 17.. The Oasis is not on all Vista Class ships. Whatever the case, I'm not worried about them, ..............as yet, anyway, lol
When we were on Ruby Princess in 2009, the aft Terrace pool is adults only, and kids were in it. A crew member saw them and told them they had to leave and use the Main Pool midship, so they did.

Also, I found out HAL does things differently from other cruise lines. We have not made final payment as yet, but they let you do the Online check-in now. With other lines, you can only do that after final payment has been made.

Many of the children on our cruise did not use Club HAL -- the parents don't want to pay the extra tips there.

We have seen children on all HAL ships use the aft pool which is suppose to be adults only -- and no one has ever said anything to them.

Yes -- on HAL you can enter in all your information once you have your booking number -- you just can't print out the first page until 50 days before your cruise -- you will get an e-mail telling you it is time. You can print out your luggage tags now.

Oh well, to each their own, Yonnie.

Usually, if I see too many kids in the pool, I don't go in, and if I do, it for a very brief time.

Yes, 50 days before the cruise, you can print your e-docs. We've printed our luggage tags also. I have a roll call on FB and so far, there's a few on the same sailing we are on.

    You are getting close.

Are you going to try Le Cirque?
