Anyone else going on this wonderful 12-night cruise?

We're also doing a 2-day excursion with SPB Tours while in St. Petersburg.

Sounds great -- wish we could travel that far.

We loved St Petersburg -- love it when the ships overnight there. Our first time there it was called Lenningrad.

Can't believe no one else from CLF is going on this magnificent cruise!

We're leaving in 11 days to start our trip that will include 14 days touring around by train to Amsterdam, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Switzerland, and France before our 12-night cruise from England to Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Estonia, and Russia.

Not bragging, just trying to make you jealous!!!

We used to travel all over Europe -- many, many years ago -- by bus, by car, by train and by plane.

Those were the days. Passports were filled with all kinds of lovely stamps.

Not bragging -- not jealous.

OK, Pete. I'm jealous. I would love to go. But can't. DW wants new windows and doors for the whole house more than she wants a cruise this year

I hear that!! We can't afford it, but can't afford not to do it. Our son works for an airline, so we get free business-class airfare, plus we won 2 free eurail passes. Then we got travel agent rates on the cruise, so overall we saved a ton of money. Couldn't have afforded this otherwise. Best thing is last year when we were there the dollar against the Euro was 1.48 and is now 1.26, so we'll get alot more for our money now than we did then.
