Thread: Tallinn sea days 2010-report about visit.

16.-18. July taken place Tallinn sea days. I visited the days. Here are my report:
Part 1
16.July: Early morning I rided to Tallinn. a little before noon I managed to place. I and marios searched him prodher's flat. In Marios's brother flat we stopped three days. Bis sea days start was some hours time, we thinked that might go swim. Near to tallinn be a beach, I swam in sea. Fun was. Quick-ship sailed along, went waves, in waves was swum fun In Tallinn bassenger bort stopped some cruise ships. in port was 'Seven seas voyager' and 'AidaPlu'. Was also one dark blue ship but I can't read out her name.
After swum I rided to bassenger port. In port I try get near to cruise ships but garden was in front.
I walked aroud and searched place whre be sea days. I walked and walked bis find sea days.
On beginning was market. after market was a orange boat 'pilot'. After 'Pilot' was ' ships control boat'(it do controls to ships).
Got see how opening lifeboat. there was also a bigger lifeboat.
Was yachts a lot. The sea days was more near to yacht's port.
Near to wharf was old steam ship "Admiral". Got see details from steam ship. I did some photos when I stand near to wheel. I was such as captain
In port was old steamship "Admiral". In "Admiral" be a caffee. I went not into the steamship. A little forward was a small cruise ship. one man on ship called" someone come to cruise, we sail out soon" I heared that and answered " I come!!". The small cruise ship maybe ~30m long. Name: Monica. On hull was letter: TALLINN-CRUISES. It is a tallinn cruise ship. Price was suspect fot half hour cruise on talinn's bay.
I went to ship. It sailed out to dea and we got so near to big cruise ships. Vision was wonderful. . View was mighty! I was on uper deck and view around at sea. I looked by interest to cruise ships. We was so near to they I was really happy... Later the Monica sailed back to place.

The report long, later I vrite forward.

A little later I viewed ships. There was difference ships for quests. Got go to ship and see what be on.

"Tarmo" be help ship, broken ice when need. "Tarmo" inside was mighty, I got also to bridge. also got see its engine. Got looked to crew's cabins, kitchen and work roums. On walls was photos and story about what the ship do at sea.
I asked some questions to mechanic. engine is so complicated. I don't know abput ship engine a lot but something I got understand. Bridge was mighty, fittings a lot.
On upper deck I viewed how "Nordlandia"had leaving to Finland.

Also was there a warship "Ugandi" but we got not went to it.

Sea days taken place near of Yachts port. Some yachts was for quests, get look them. Yachts costly and luxurious.

The important thing is that you enjoyed Talinn Sea Days and got to see all the things that you had not seen before. I'll bet looking at some of the behind the scenes areas will help you in your ship designing.

I got do visit to Estonian frontier guard ship "Vapper", I was also on ship "Salme". Really interesting was. Got view to pridge and engine room. Usually we may not go to pridge and may not see also engine room. It was unique possibility to see ships where usual people may not go. All ships have something what be unique. My state has several good ships. I am happy to live here. Marios heared me when I tould. I was so exiced.
Evening I visited also restaurant ship "Forsby". I bought onely a drink. prices be very costly, one yuice cost was 2* higher than in shop.
I did a tour also to Steamship "Admiral" there be a restaurant.
After I went back to stopping place. I was so dired that I remained sleeping suddenly.
Day was really interesting, I was happy.
