Hi Bob,
I also wondered about the boats. The larger ones are stationary (café, tourist office, etc.) -- we think they were probably put in the water with a crane. The only other ones there are the little paddleboats, and they - and the ducks - fit under the bridges pretty easily. It's really a sleepy "nest" -- one of those places where you believe that the world is still o.k.

Hi Garry,

Be my guest! We have about 130 pictures altogether, but there are many similar. The problem was the glass wall of the gallery from where we could watch the work in progress. I kept forgetting to turn the flash off on the new Nikon -- and continually got reflections on the pix.

I also had to join Snapfish to do the album but, since it seems to belong to HP - Hewlett Packard, I figured it was pretty safe. Although I hit the snapfish.com site, it still pops up with the german link -- probably because of the cookies for our being in Germany. I have the same problem with the X website. It automatically ushers me to the german page, from which I continually get high € pricing. And Princess doesn't let me price anything at all -- there is no way I can re-choose the country of residence (and the European page only puts me in contact with a German travel agent).

Thanks Sharon. I think you did a great job and we all appreciate it. I bet it was fun seeing the ship! I would love to do that trip!

I'm posting 3 aft pictures since that seems to be what so many are interested in. You can see what I mean by the corner suite having a different view than the other aft cabins. Also, I noticed that there is a larger space down the middle of the ship which might make the two center aft cabins have wider balconies. I hope so since on the Solstice we have cabin 1204 and on the Equinox we have 6312. Also I noticed that we don't have much of an overhang on the balconies. But we're going to have a great view!

The German site seems to be "kaput" at the moment. Substituting the US Snapfish url seems to bring them up just fine. Try this one:

I think the aft corners will still have a view of the aft and across the back, it will just be from only one side of the balcony. It depends where the dividers go.

I believe the divider will be next to the SV cabin balcony door (blue arrow) and the SS balcony will be the length of the yellow arrow. At least I hope so considering how much more a sky suite 1 is compared to the SV.

If that's where the divider goes, then yes, the corner afts will have a great view of the aft. I hope that's the case.

I'm sorry I didn't sign my name... Its Esther. Tommy never posts and rarely reads any of them. He is a busy guy besides its too much computer time just doing his work.

I should be able to confirm the size of the balcony for the sky suite on November 30 2008 since we are in cabin 6312 SV.

Ah Ha! Esther, I'm going to beat you to it. Bob and I will be on the Solstice Nov. 5. We'll be in aft cabin 1204. A funny coincidence is that on the Equinox TA, we'll be in 6312. I hope you'll tell us all about that cabin. Take pictures if you can.
