But you have to admit, it would be a pretty elaborate scam to pay for him to go to Norway on the QE2 with me three years ago, just so that I could take a picture to send to you, and, in case you all came out to dinner in California sometime in the future, I'd have the same rent-a-date available...hardly likely...or am I THAT crafty??? You decide!

You're welcome to, but I've tried the outside pressure thing before, and it's backfired...he's an interesting piece of work...but I guess, after 8 years, he's my piece of work.
And, as talented as the photographer was, and as good as the camera was, THAT IS NOT A BACKDROP! One of the most spectacular cruise experiences we've had. And that was with Ted and Diana, too! Lord KNOWS how wonderful cruising with you two will be, but time will tell...
I read on Sea Trade today that Solstice is being delivered three weeks early. moving up the inagural by three weeks as well. I'm sure there are lot of travel agents on the line now! Folks can move to the inagural or keep their current one. There are three new cruises on sale, with the new inaugural open only to those who were booked on the old one, for the short term.
The two that are on sale are super-cheap. The new inagural is being held for sale until the old inagural passengers decide but you could get on the other two new sailings for about six or seven hundred Canadian, plus fees. Yikes!

While Hugo was sleeping one night and I was busy with internet (in Washington), I spotted a glitch fare from United for next January (sorry if I'm repeating all this to those that frequent CC), so we're flying from Newark to Honolulu in January for $292 PP all-in. Have to figure out how to get from Germany to Newark now -- and find hotels in HNL that won't break the bank. Anyone have any good suggestions for the hotel part?? Priceline will be my friend again, hopefully.
We are finally having summer in Germany -- today was about 86 and hopefully it will stay that way for a while.
Hi Sharon, we're glad you're back and that you had a good trip. Wow, that's a great price for your flights! Congratulations! We always use priceline too, but when we were in Hawaii we were able to use Hilton points. We've used them all up now.
Did you see the new sailing for the Solstice? We broke down and booked the Dec. 7th sailing so we'll take lots of pictures!
We broke down too. However we're on Nov 30. Frankly, I was very surprised that this flew. I was willing to do a 2B, but DH suggested a C1. Who am I to argue.
