Bobbie, at my age I don't want the time to fly! Bob and I are lucky enough that we have 2 cruises to go before we sail on the Equinox so have something to occupy our time. You should come and sail on the Sept. Connie TA with us. There are a lot of Owls and old friends going.

Would like nothing more than to do that. However, in order for us to do these wonderful things with great friends, we need to work. So, I'm afraid Connie will have to do this TA without us. I know she'll miss us, but......

I hope that by the time we fly that the airlines aren't charging us for every little aspect of the trip on an a la carte basis. I read today that AA is going to start charging $15 for the first bag of checked luggage!

??? Sandy, I had no problems opening the thread. Whatever it was, I think it's been resolved. There's not much activity over there so far this morning (thank goodness!). This is still a better place.

I think that on both sites, the intial blush of excitement of booking the cruise has crested and things will be quiet except for folks joining in or returning from travels.

I think it's more than the "initial blush". Seems as though we're having an early fall and all have fallen off the tree.

Is it only me that had no plans for this holiday weekend? Oh wait....I cooked and am cleaning the bedroom. Guess that counts as "plans". Hope all had a nice, safe, pleasant weekend.
