Glad to see that I am not the only one spinning from the DS.

Too much to follow...Garry, I don't know how Bob is doing it.

I swear to you that I posted on Friday over there, and came back this morning to 11 pages of posts!!!! Even the owls don't move that fast!

One of the reasons I will probably stay involved over there is that there are a bunch of folks that I know who aren't owls or CLF'ers, but who are great people. Some I've met before, and others just chatted with... I also see a lot of overlap in knowing people. I think Bill must know everyone...but we can't have a Friends of Bill group without creating some SERIOUS confusion. There's also a small FOD group going over there....but it does feel like work...

I can't imagine being a newbie on that thread...if we're overwhelmed, imagine how THEY feel??

    Andrew,

I saw your post on THAT roll call. We have some friends in common! (Other than the Owls, of course). We sailed with Andy and Sheila on the Constellation in 2003 to the British Isles and Norwegian fjords. That was our first CC cruise. They are a delightful couple and we are going to try to get with them for at least a quick drink when we are out there in June.

And FOwv4891 just doesn't have the same punch, does it?

What a 'Hoot!' We sailed with them on the WB Connie TA in '04. We managed to get together both before the cruise as a precruise meet and greet, and a few times afterwards...but haven't seen them in a few years. Neat people.

FOBAM? Friends of Bill and Marylin?

What part of the one-syllable word "ain't" don't you understand?
