Formal Nights

I have never been on a transatlantic before so I am wondering when will the formal nights be? I know usually the first one is on the night of the first sea day but that doesn't happen for us until the 10th of November.

If anyone has an educated guess I would appreciate it.

Thanks,

Esther

Esther, I can't remember from the TA I did in 2007 when the first formal night was. They all seem to merge into one. That cruise was similar to this one as we had no sea days until day six. I think it might have been on the third night as it wasn't such a long day in port. I'd guess day 3 in Barcelona or maybe day 4 in Majorca, but that's a bit late for the first one.

OK, fess up. Has anyone had a dream about camels yet?

That question, Phil, warrants another: Have you had a dream about camels? If so, do tell.....if it can be put in print, that is.

Chris,

I wonder if possibly the first formal night might be on Nov. 5. We're in Palma De Mallorca and are due to depart at 2:00 pm.

Not yet Bobbie, but there's plenty of time and if it's printable I'll let you know all about it

Chris, I know what it means. You need therapy

Thanks for the formal nights theory.

I wonder what it says about a person that would dream of a camel in a tutu... maybe you shouldn't share

If nothing else, this will be a entertaining group.

I refuse ... I'm not gonna .... he might think .....

I'm not telling my therapist a thing about that one!

I was hoping for a more normal dream - something with a tad less Purple Haze and bit more Budweiser. You know, something on this order:

Probably the prettiest camel I have ever seen and undoubtedly the most graceful. She even looks as though she may use a very nice perfume so she smells better then ALL other camels, except perhaps her ballet partner - Mikhail Carmelnikov.

Garry - no one is stopping you (& Bob) from coming!

Anyone remember...I'd walk a mile for a Camel?
