Suzanne - Thanks for letting us all know about this tour. I hope I have not created any hardship for you by posting the link, I really had no idea. I do have a question....one that has been asked before....do they smell really bad, the Camels?

Not a problem! I took care of it.
The reason that links to other forums are not allowed
(here and most cruise forums that are funded by advertisers)
has to do with the search engines, like google,
that pick up the link and show our forum
as the source to a different forum.

We don't have a problem with you sharing links
to other forums, just use the Private Message system
so there is nothing for the search engines to pick up on.

Chris Anderson shout out....I have read recently that wine has been brought on without incident while in the Med. We need that help.
Now that's some interesting news I hadn't run across. Which ship? While I'd like to think they loosened things up a bit across the fleet, it's likely more of a ship-specific thing based upon the mood of the gangway security folks or the captain, and Equinox hadn't had its first Med cruise yet.

Would be curious to know where this was being reported.

Like the new handle -- sure am glad you posted your "other" one, though, or I'd not have realized ... oh yeah, I probably would have realized who Mr. Martini was!

Saw your names on Bob's cabin chart and was glad to see you're on this one. Ready for a test of the (hmm... it's not exactly "the" anymore on these larger ships) specialty restaurant on Equinox? I guess I'm thinking of what's being called "Murano" on this ship. We're still chuckling over our "after dinner visitor" from last year. What a hoot.

Chris it is more of a tone of a variety of posters commenting on their random experiences. I will make a mental note to pay more attention to specifics and then can convey them for more surety, but there is one thing for certain, I will be bringing on wine at certain stops and will see how it goes before I decide not to do it at all.

At first I thought, "Better make sure we start that experiment with the cheap stuff", but then remembered that the suitcases will have been emptied of the ones that we originally bring with us, so worst case, we can always bring them home at the end of the cruise.

If anything comes to mind from posts you read that indicate any trends, be sure to let us know. I assume the info you are getting is coming from "The Dark Side", or should I be looking around here for hints, too?
