Thread: Enchantment of the Seas - 4/14/08

We just returned from our second 5 night cruise on the Enchantment of the Seas, and enjoyed it just as much as our first. This is the ship that was "stretched" - it was cut through in the middle, moved out on both sides and they inserted a new atrium area (RCI calls it the Centrum). Since we live in Florida it's easy for us to take a quick getaway for a few nights. We decided to try the Enchantment once again. As I mentioned, we enjoyed it every bit as much as the last time. This ship makes a 4 night journey and turns around for a 5 nighter. It is always fully booked. The constant use does show wear and tear on the cabins which was noticeable since our first time aboard. The cabins need attention, but they are very clean. We had a Jr. Suite and we were very comfortable. The rest of ship is not showing any wear and tear and is really quite beautiful and comfortable. The crew is great...best crew of any other cruise we've taken. Food was exceptionally good. We look forward to our next quick getaway and it will be on the Enchantment. Questions? I have a question - why is a car which is cut down the middle and then joined, deemed unsafe, when doing this with a ship is OK?
