Platinum benefits in Fort Lauderdale on Enchantment?

I am looking at cruise out of Fort Lauderdale on the Enchantment. What can I expect when I arrive at the port? Is there a private departure lounge for Platinum members? What about when the cruise is over... does the Enchantment offer Platinum members priority debarkation? I know it varies from ship to ship. Any info would be appreciated.

I've never sailed from there, but every other port I have sailed from has, at least, a special waiting area.

Didn't I hear that Miami did away with it?

I've never sailed from the East Coast, but I agree with Reggie about all the other ports having special places to sit and early disembarkment.

I know you asked about Ft Lauderdale, but I also know that many others will be reading this, thought I would answer for the what is available in Baltimore. Baltimore does not have a private departure lounge. They do have a few lines that are for the suite, diamond and platinum guests. There is a large area where everyone waiting to board can sit and wait until boarding is announced. They do have priority boarding for the above mentioned guests.

I want to add that Baltimore and Cape Liberty are very efficient. I have sailed 3 times out of Baltimore, once out of Cape Liberty and we were on board in record time. Debark was also very easy. That was our experience. The best departure lounge I have experienced was in Galveston!!! They had Mimosa's, wine, tea and some neat snacks for the suite & diamond guests. It was very nice. While the above mentioned ports may not be as modern as other ports, but they sure beat Miami and Ft Lauderdale for boarding.

as far as disembarkment...they have a special area you cant wait for the platium and diamond members...but you dont get priority in getting off first...with the new carry your own luggage off that they let you do...they go first...we skiped the waiting area and carried our own luggage off this time..it was easy and fast.

If you are a Diamond or Suite guest, you can ask for the white or beige luggage tags. Those two colors are first to be called, so if you want to be in the first group called, ask your stateroom attendant for either white or beige. Of course, these colors are not called until after the self assist guests are off the ship. They do have an area on the ship for you to wait until your color is called. And they usually have coffee, tea or water and danish, fruit or some other food to snack on. This is for the Diamond and suite guests. Maybe for Platinum, don't really remember.

That must be something fairly new. I was there in October 2006 and no lounge, no snacks or drinks, nada, nothing at all except a small waiting and seating area close to where we boarded. We did get to board the ship early.

The best I have seen was in LA boarding the Monarch.
They had everything mentioned above except no mimosa's
They did have chocolate covered strawberries though.
I wonder if the ship has anything to do with what is provided in the
Diamond and Suite lounge? I know the food and beverages come from the ship, but does each ship have discretion as to what they will provide.

Blizzard, what have you seen for your Vision cruises?
