Anyone going on the first cruise with the Emerald? Any perks given on first cruise on New Ships?

I definitely want to cruise on the Emerald, but I don't go on the first trip ever!! I want them to iron out some wrinkles before I get there! I don't think there are any perks given for the first cruise but I'm not sure. Maybe someone else will answer that.

The only perks I heard of was if the ship is delayed for techical problems that need to be ironed out and miss that 1st sailing- they give you all your $$ back and re-book you at the fraction of the cost + ship board credit ect... My TA was upset because she hadn't booked when Disney cruise just came out because she would of made out, but she couldn't go that 1st week and then they were delayed anyways.

I know on HAL there have been some special mementos for the inaugural voyage.

My bestfriend and I are really anxious to sail the Emerald Princess on herSouthern Caribbean Medley (FLL, Princess Cays, St. Thomas, Dominica, Grenada, Bonaire, Aruba, back to FLL)

I BOOKED the Emerald!!!!! I'm so excited, but just realized that the date I picked was Eastern and not southern which is what I really want.

Ok everybody, everything is ok, I was just confused because they switch one island St Lucia for Dominic, does anyone out there know why? Its for December 2008.
