We are cruising on the Repositioning Cruise of the Emerald Primcess to the Baltics in April. Has anyone done this and what did you like best about the ship or the ports?![]()

Hey there! Haven't seen you around for awhile....welcome back!
I moved your post from the Introduce Yourself forum over to here, the Princess forum, so you would get a bit more attention to your question.
Sounds like a nice cruise...at which ports will you be calling?
Have you looked in our Cruise Places for your specific ports of call?
Here is the link --> Cruise Places

Cruising is a wonderful way to enjoy retirement!!
Stopped counting after 110 cruises.
Scotty .... Not sure this is exactly what you wanted but ...
We have been on Emerald Princess for 20 days and liked the ship. Loved having the International Cafe which was easy and much less crowded than going to Horizon Court when returning from shore excursions. Suggestion is to find a cabin mid-ship because it's a very long ship.
We've also been on a Baltic Cruise on a Princess ship but wasn't on Emerald. No problem with the way Princess handled ports of call -- very organized.
Feel sure you'll have a great time!![]()

We are a little forward of midships but close to the fitness center which I use a lot. We will be at sea quite a bit!
thanks for your info it is quite helpful. Let you know how it goes!
Scotty ... South Hampton is actually Southampton LOL near the Isle of Wight.
Well back from our 16 repositioning cruise on the Emerald Princess. The crew was extremely disorganized for shore excursions and we lost several hours of on shore time at Dover, and Falmouth as well as Rotterdam. The coffee other then in the International Cafe was made from cheap syrup instead of beans. They seem to be finding ways to cheapen the trip more each time we cruise. The passenger service desk was the most dreadful!. They lied on several occassions and half the time after announcing they had local cash to sell, refused to do so. They were much less then accomodating. Short of the people we were with, it would have been a disappointing trip!
Sorry to hear that. I was disappointed in Princess as well on our last cruise, the Ruby.
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.
