Two specialty restaurants – an expanded Sabatini’s Italian restaurant and the new Crown Grill (steak & seafood)

Almost all the Princess ships have these same two speciality restaurants. The differences may only be in some ships due for upgrades (like Star is as we speak).

Never been in Crown but it's a steak and seafood place and is said to be great. I THINK it's 25 a person with an up charge for live maun lobster.
I'll let you know in a couple weeks.

Sabatini's is still 20 (pretty sure). It's lots of fun and an interesting evening. You have your choice of entree' and dessert. Before, between, and after these two choices you are brought and sample several wonderful courses. Soup, salad, antipasto, pizza, cheese, more than I can remember.

On our anniversary a few years ago we ate at Sabatini's with a dozen friends, everyone enjoyed it.

A couple of dishes from Sabatini's

Yes, the Crown Grill's Cover Charge is $25 plus an extra $9 if you order the bigger lobster.

I'm perfectly happy with the main dining room, never had a bad meal there. Would rather spend that extra money on other things! JMO

Carol .... Really happy to know you enjoyed the food in the main dining room on Emerald Princess since that's what we are doing in January.

We've never had a problem with food on Princess either.

Thing is ... we've sort of found that we enjoy the Speciality Dining ... and, it's more than for just the food ....
