Launched in 2006, the expedition yacht
Hanse Explorer has been designed to explore the remote corners of the world from warm tropical waters to the polar regions. Purpose built by the German company Fassmer Werft for scientific as well as guest expeditions,
Hanse Explorer carries Zodiac landing craft and is expertly outfitted for scuba diving, with a dive compressor and equipment for self-contained dive operations. The ship accommodates 12 guests in six outside cabins. Spacious, with large windows and tastefully furnished in light wood tones, cabins may be configured for either Queen or Twin sleeping arrangements; en-suite bathrooms are fitted with powerful rain shower systems. Each cabin is equipped with climate controls a satellite phone and a flat-screen monitor, ideal for working on digital photographs. Public areas include a Dining Room and a comfortable Bar/Lounge, featuring an electronic navigational chart so guests may observe the position of the vessel any time. An outside al fresco dining area provides inspiring backdrops while eating superb cuisine. There is also a Sauna and Fitness Room for the indulgent. The atmosphere onboard is relaxed and informal.
With a full complement of 18 experienced crew members for 12 guests, you can be assured of impeccable service. Two Expedition Leaders/Undersea Specialists guide you throughout your adventure.
Prices for the yacht are $20 000,- per night or $200 000,- for 10 days.
