Eco-cruising is becoming a more popular niche within the cruise industry. As environmental awareness and a desire to connect with our natural surroundings increases, expedition based cruises have also increased.

Among some of the most popular eco-cruise destination include; the Galapagos Island, Mexico's Sea of Cortez, Alaska, and Africa.

The Celebrity Xpedition, in fact, caters specifically to this type of vacation package. And SilverSea has recently installed an African leg to some of their voyages.
