What to do in Dominica?

Dominica is a new port for us. What are the "not to be missed" for a first timer?

hello Planersedge,

If you would like to have a complete overview of Dominica in one day, your best option is doing the Emerald Pool/Trafalgar Falls Combo. Other sites such as sulphur spring, titou gorge can also be added to make this a complete package, including the legendary Mr. Nice's Fruit Stand. There you can eat as much of the different varieties of fruits available for free....just place a tip in the basket provided.

If you enjoy snorkeling, then the Chanpagne Beach snorkel should not be missed. Another great adventurous excursion is the River Tubing. The Aerial Tram ride is great if you want to feel as one with nature, however there is not much in lieu of bird species to be seen.

Some persons swear by whale watching...and at this time of year your chances of seeing the different species of whales that call the Dominican waters home are great.

I am certain that what ever you decide to do, you will enjoy Dominica.

Enjoy your cruise.
