While we don't mind having a port stop in Dominica, it's not one of our favorites ... lack of beaches.

Everytime we book a catamaran to the "Champagne Reef" it gets cancelled for one reason or another .... Do hope we get to do it on our upcoming cruise in January .... The Champagne Reef is something I've always wanted to do.

Actually, we've not had a bad time just shopping around in town. (Had to ... per above, cancelled excursions ) The town is not big but it's clean ... and the locals have always been friendly and nice.

Have been here quite a few times.

Emerald Pool and Rain Forest tour -- excellent.

The locals are very friendly.

Well, Lulu - that Champagne Reef snorkel is something I want to do, as well . . . IF we ever get to Dominica.

We have been there twice. It is a nice change from the islands with all the shopping.
