Anyonbe driving to Port Canaveral tonight for tomorrow's sailing of the Wonder may encounter DELAYS and/or DETOURS.

I-95 has been shut down in both directions from Port St. John to the Beachline (528) because of a brushfire.

The beachline is the exit you would normally take to get to the port.

RECOMMENDATION:
Take anyone of the TITUSVILLE exits, proceed EAST to U. S. 1, and then take US1 South to the Beachline then go East on the Beachline (528) to the port.

word from the local media was that the cruise ships were aware of the delays being caused by road closures due to fires, and were planning accordingly.
I was expecting the Wonder and the Fantasy sailings to be delayed by at least an hour today.
But I see that the Wonder is currently leaving the pier, only 28 minutes late.
The Beachline opened for about an hour and 45 minutes ago. It had been closed since yesterday due to heavy smoke from the fires.

If you are leaving on the Wonder today, and haven't arrived at the port yet, LEAVE EARLY.

Once again, there are road closures in the area due to the brush fires. The following roads are closed at this moment:

• The Beachline (528) is closed between I-95 and 520.
• I-95 is closed from 50 (Titusville) to 528, 'numerous crashes' reported
• 407 is closed between I-95 and the Beachline
• Additional closures could occur, or these roads may re-open when conditions permit, but traffic may be congested for a time after they re-open.

NOTE THAT I-95 and 528 ARE THE MOST FREQUENTLY USED MAIN ARTERIES TO GET TO THE PORT.
