Curtis, have you named this cruise the "Dream Catcher"? I like that name!

Here are some comparisons between Disney Dream and Carnival Sensation:

Disney Dream is around 300 feet longer than Sensation.

Disney Dream is 2 X the tonnage of Sensation.

There is double the capacity on Dream than Sensation.

Dream has 4 more decks than Sensation.

    Woah!

I am no longer on this cruise, as I'm transferring it's reservation for a 2012 Fantasy cruise which will be 7 Nights.

Hi there! We just got back from our Disney Magic cruise with son, daughter-in-law and two grand-daughters. Our last stop was Friday at Castaway Cay where the Disney Dream paid us a visit. What a gorgeous ship. You are absolutely going to love your cruise...how many nights are you going for: 3/4/or5? Are you also doing the Disney World visit while there. Too bad the cruise isn't longer.
When the Disney Magic arrives at or leaves a port, the horn sings out "When you Wish Upon a Star". Well, the new Disney Dream has six songs including "When you Wish..." and "It's a Small Small World after All", among others. Both ships were sounding out their tunes while we looked on...an amazing site in a beautiful location. You will love it. I will be putting a few pics of our trip on my profile. Diane

    Diane,

Sadly we cancelled this trip in November 2010, and we booked Carnival Fascination instead. We just weren't sure if we'd like it, and the price was a little too expensive for our tastes.

Hopefully we'll get a chance later on.

Hi again! Sorry you cancelled your cruise, but as I said in my Cruise Review, we would not go on another Disney Cruise...the reason being we are in our 60's and we appreciate a more sedate cruise. Do you have children? It was constant noise with yelling, crying babies and toddlers, possibly up to 800/900 children on this cruise. Also, it being quite cool, especially at night with the wind, it was hard to find a nice quiet place, other than our stateroom to get some peace and quiet. Maybe you will be happier on Carnaval.

We have already started looking at future cruises. Have you been on NCL or Royal Carib? and what are your thoughts. We'd love to know.

Actually, being a teenager, having kids at this time doesn't sound like a good idea.

Also, we've only cruised Carnival, so no feedback for RCCL or NCL.
