Doc, I feel the way way. I'd LOVE to take my grandsons on a Disney cruise but I don't think I'd ever be able to afford it. I've taken them to Disneyland but the cruises are too much and they are out of Florida so it costs more in airfare.

Do you want the kids at the craps tables? Better not to have any gambling.

Disney was really good at keeping the kids out of the adult areas. However, from what we saw, the adult areas closed up by midnight or so. Not a lot to do for night owls.

We're doing another Disney cruise in '06, but I think that might be the last -- we can do other lines much cheaper. Sure, it's fun sailing with the characters, but I'm not sure it's worth the extra cash. Besides, my son will be 15 on our next one.

Grandma is paying for the kids to cruise as a christmas gift. So DW will have to play the slots while I take the kids to see the fish at the Atlantis. When we go by ourselves we spend too much on the games. So this time we might have something left at the end of the cruise....

Its hard to say is that policy good or not for DCL. Sure it controversal.
Personally I don't care about gambling when on ship, but I admit casinos are big part of cruise entartainment. DCL has its own philosophy and sticks to it. All I can guess is that people from DCL managment are well paid proffesionals and they know what tey doing.
