Disney Dream arriving Port Canaveral on Tuesday

    PORT CANAVERAL --
Disney's brand new cruise ship will sail into Central Florida for the first time this week.
The Disney Dream is set to arrive along the Space Coast early Tuesday morning after making a trip across the Atlantic Ocean following construction.
The ship is one of two new ships being built by Disney, but these are much larger than the original ships.
The dream can hold about 4,000 passengers.
It also features a few firsts at sea including a water coaster and 'virtual portholes' inside cabins that show live video from outside.
The arrival also means one Disney ship that's called Port Canaveral home for more than a decade, will be leaving.
The Disney Wonder will head to California at the end of the week and will run cruises from Los Angeles later this month through at least 2012.

This is truly a good news to all cruisers. Many are being excited to experience this new cruise ship from Disney and go to this famous Port Canaveral. MY family and I are planning to have our cruise this coming summer and starting to find an affordable Port Canaveral transportation service for our transport from the airport.

Are you flying in a day ir two early, or on the day of th cruise?

Check rental car rates! The cheapest way may be to do a one way car rental. You can drive to the port, drop off the car at the Cocoa Beach or Port Canaveral drop-off (depending on the company) and they will shuttle you to the port. this method is oftn the least expensive, especially if there are two or more of you, since you just pay for ONE car rental, but EACH person is charged the shuttle fare.

Once you work your way out of the airport complex (the hardesst part of the whole trip), it's approximately 47 minutes to the pot, and practiallly a straight shot. The rental car companies are all aabout 5 minutes beyond that, on or near A1A.
