We generally don't patronize casinos (I don't consider myself lucky at gambling and hubby isn't interested in gaming), but I don't think we'll ever try Disney. The cost always seems to be much, much higher than our current favorite, Princess. My daughter may have liked to go on DL when she was younger and into Disney characters, but she lost interest in Disney Channel shows when she was in fifth grade. In fact, I could push her buttons just mentioning High School Musical or Hannah Montana. (she does still like some Disney movies)

Another factor is that the Disney ships seem to stick to the Caribbean, Europe, and the Mexican Riviera.

I'd like to say that I really appreciate all of your Disney input. With so many Disney cruises, you can be considered an expert.
Please keep posting as I'm sure many will benefit from your experiences.

Regarding seniors: My elderly mother refuses to sail on anything but Disney - lol. By AARP standards I am a senior also. I've never had kids. Never wanted them. Don't like being around them. Have so far chosen not to sail with anyone but DCL. Have been VERY happy doing so.

I'm only saying - To each his own. It has nothing to do with age. It has everything to do with attitude. Were there not a variety of cruisers with a variety of personal preferences, there would not be such a variety of cruise lines. A thread title of "Is Disney your favorite cruise line?" does get me going. On that note, I shall end.

I have sailed Disney 9 times including their newest ship the Dream and I can't wait to take my 10th cruise! I have lived in Florida all my life and have been a huge Disney fan, so for me their is no better cruise ship. Disney was the first cruiseline I ever sailed on and even though I don't have kids this is the cruiseline I feel fits me best.
