Disney Cruise Line Reportedly Says No to Fuel Surcharges

Disney Cruise Line will not add fuel surcharges to clients with reservations, according to a story published Monday by United Press International. Many other cruise lines are adding fuel surcharges onto cruise fares, prompting an investigation by the Florida attorney general. Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. brands agreed to refund fuel surcharges to those who booked before the fees were officially announced on Nov. 16. The UPI story said Disney is considering adding fuel surcharges in April at the earliest. Disney Cruise Line did not make an official announcement concerning fuel surcharges.
