West Coast and Panama Itinerary for 2008

As a dedicated RCCL fan, I am really itching to branch out a bit, and try Disney. With the two itineraries that will be hitting the left coast, I wanted to get some feedback. In particular, I am curious about the Panama sailings. What do you think of these itineries in comparison to other cruise lines??

We did Pamana Canal on Radiance from Miami to L.A. which worked out best for us.. as we live in Washington the State.. So we did the big flight down first and only had a short flight home from LA... So I would have to say... it would depend on which side you want to end up in... and ours was a 14 day sailing.. with 7 ports of call..

And it was a Great cruise... I would do it again... boy would I .... loved it...

Thanks for the input. It just seems that in comparisson to other lines, the ports of call on the disney itin are lacking a bit. I love all the ports, but I wish there was more of South America. For the price, disney might be a good experience, and the Panama is one on the list of to dos!

Yuppers Annie! Doing good - I heard that you are now sometimes working at the pier in Baltimore. That must be cool for you! Are you ever gonna make it out Vancouver way?

    Take Care,

    Michelle

I was just on travelocity, researching So.Car. cruises and noticed that Disney was going to do a Mexican Riviera cruise again so I checked out the prices and noticed that they were twice as much as on other cruiselines. Do you think the Magic is worth that much more money over say, the Golden Princess, the Carnival Pride or the RC Vision of the Seas?

This is my question as well. I know with the panama itin, I could get a better price and more south/central american ports in that what is currently offered on disney. But there is something about disney...

For a 15 nt cruise, I'd call this one about one port light. Compare to a similar 14 or 15 nt Celebrity run. They should be giving you a stop in Costa Rica or something.
