Thread: Pirates racing boat in Volvo ocean race

Anyone see this yet? Disney has a boat in the Volvo ocean race. Very cool site. The sails have a big pirate picture.

What a fantastic advertising scheme! Thanks for pointing us to that site - it's chock full of good stuff.

The racing yachts came into Baltimore in April. We went to the dock to see they, they were out of the ater for a couple of days. Then we went to see them for a mini regatta. THen again when they sailed away for the start of the next leg. Unfortunately one of the ships sank, thnik it was Moviestar, and another one had one of it crew members go overboard, but I think they were able to turn around and rescue him.

Very sad, ABN AMRO TWO had a man wash over board in the Atlantic on the way to England. They did find his body but couldn't revive him.

Your right about Moviestar. it had a keel problem and took on water. The TWO turned around to pick up the crew of the Moviestar.
