    Andrea, they will help you stay balanced when you get on and off the tender. It would probably also be good to say that you need a little extra help.

    When I was just recovering but no longer in a cast from a badly broken leg (both bones) many years ago and was LOTS younger and didn't looked like I'd need help, I'd always ask for extra help and it was never a problem. Also, my DH would go first to make sure I was completely steady once on the tender.

    They are very good at helping people on and off the ship. One of our tablemates had a scooter and could not walk more than a few feet. The crew all but carried her off the ship similar to the way a physical therapist would have. They are very attentive and think nothing of it.
